Congresswoman Mary Miller represents the 15th District of Illinois in the United States House of Representatives, where she serves on the House Committees on Agriculture, Education and Workforce, and House Administration.
Rep. Miller is also the Chairwoman of the Congressional Family Caucus and a proud member of the House Freedom Caucus and Republican Study Committee. A graduate from Eastern Illinois University, Congresswoman Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and completed graduate coursework in education, obtaining her Illinois teaching certification.
Together, Mary and her husband Chris, raised seven children on their fourth-generation family farm where faith, hard work, and family values were central to daily life. They cherish time with their growing family, including their twenty-three grandchildren.
On the House Agriculture Committee, Rep. Miller brings a producer’s perspective and fights to protect rural communities, strengthen family farms, and safeguard America’s food supply. On the House Education and Workforce Committee, Rep. Miller advocates for parental rights, school choice, and an education system that puts students, not bureaucrats, first.
As a member of the House Administration Committee, Rep. Miller is leading efforts to strengthen election integrity, including advancing voter ID requirements in federal elections, while also leading legislation to ban insider trading by Members of Congress.
In March 2023, Rep. Miller founded the Congressional Family Caucus, uniting over 40 Members of Congress around policies that strengthen the nuclear family, defend parental rights, protect women’s sports, and help restore the American Dream for future generations.
