Miller Votes to Stop Biden from Using Our Military to Pay for Abortion and his Woke Agenda

WASHINGTON - Today, after the hard work of conservatives in the House to include historic conservative provisions, Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act.
"Today, I voted for the National Defense Authorization Act, which included my amendment to protect the religious liberty rights of our service members and the amendment I co-sponsored to end Joe Biden’s ability to use taxpayer dollars to pay for abortion expenses,” said Miller.
“Conservatives passed provisions in the NDAA to:
- Prohibit military funding for abortion-related expenses
- Protect troops' religious liberty
- Establish a reinstatement pathway for service members unjustly discharged due to Biden's COVID vaccine mandate
- Increase servicemember base pay by 5.2%
- Prohibit the teaching of radical Critical Race Theory
- Stop taxpayer funding for transgender castration procedures
- Ban "drag shows" and "drag queen story hours" from military facilities
- Create a Parents Bill of Rights for servicemembers, giving parents the right to review curriculum and provide consent before any medical exams at schools.
- End Biden's woke military transformation, which has caused a recruitment and retention crisis
- Counter China by blocking purchases from CCP-backed entities
- Prohibit funds to EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan lab
- Establish a new Inspector General for Ukraine funding, who will audit every penny Joe Biden spent on the proxy war in Ukraine and finally give taxpayers oversight and accountability.
- Force Biden to secure the southern border by authorizing National Guard collaboration with local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking.
“In Congress, I will always support our brave men and women in uniform and their families. President Biden's weak national security policies and woke political agenda have devastated our military readiness, but I am proud that House conservatives were able to halt some of the Biden agenda through this bill."
