Art Competition

Congresswoman Mary Miller invites high school students from Illinois’ 15th Congressional District to participate in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. This annual nationwide contest, sponsored by Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, celebrates the creativity and artistic talents of high school students across the country.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Celebrating 250 Years of America.”
Eligibility
The competition is open to public, private, and home-schooled high school students (grades 9-12) in Illinois’ 15th Congressional District.

National Recognition
The 1st place winner from Illinois’ 15th District will have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
In addition, the winner will receive:
● Two round-trip airline tickets to Washington, D.C.
● An invitation to attend the National Exhibition Reception in Washington, D.C.
● National recognition alongside winning artwork from congressional districts across the country.
● Placement of their artwork on the House.gov Congressional Art Competition page.
District Recognition
2nd Place: Artwork will be displayed in Congresswoman Miller’s Mahomet District Office
3rd Place: Artwork will be displayed in Congresswoman Miller’s Quincy District Office
Submission Deadline
All artwork and required forms must be delivered to Congresswoman Miller’s Mahomet or Quincy district offices no later than:
Wednesday, April 27, 2026 4:00 PM CT
