One Year of Failed Leadership
WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) issued the following statement on one year of President Biden's failed leadership.
"Today marks one year of the Biden-Harris administration failing the American people," said Miller. "Joe Biden’s first year in office has been defined by the multiple crises his failed leadership have produced.”
"President Biden attempted to use the federal government to fire Americans from their jobs with an illegal and unconstitutional COVID vaccine mandate. He also used the FBI to intimidate and silence parents for showing up to school board meetings to oppose his radical Critical Race Theory and dangerous transgender policies that harm children in our schools.”
“Vice President Harris allowed drug cartels and human traffickers to take control of our southern border. After being energy independent under President Trump, the Biden administration attacked domestic energy production to make our country rely upon batteries, solar panels, and windmills made by China.”
“Worst of all, we must never forget President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, which cost 13 service members their lives, left billions in US military equipment in the hands of terrorists, and led to 78,000 unvetted Afghan nationals being brought to US soil,” Miller said. “To this day, no one in the Biden administration has been held responsible for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan or the lies that were told to the American people, and no one has been fired or resigned."
