Rep. Miller Statement on 41-year Record Inflation High of 9.1%

WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) released the following statement on the new 41-year inflation high of 9.1% under President Biden:

"Under President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, and Leader Schumer, inflation has reached a shocking 9.1%, the highest in 41 years. Inflation is causing prices to skyrocket, which hurts working families trying to buy groceries and seniors living on a fixed income the hardest," Miller said. "The very people that Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer claimed they would represent are suffering the worst under their leadership. Once GDP numbers are released, our nation will officially be in a recession while the cost of living is at an all-time high. It took less than two years for woke leftists to destroy the American economy, which was booming under President Trump's leadership. Like every American, I fear for the country that our children and grandchildren will inherit after the irreparable damage of Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer's reckless spending and leftist economic policies."
