REP. MILLER VOTES FOR CONSERVATIVE WINS IN FUNDING FIGHT
WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) released the following statement after voting in favor of four conservative appropriations bills that contained important victories in the fight against Biden’s America Last agenda:
“Tonight, I voted for a series of conservative policy wins in four appropriations bills that reverse Biden’s America Last agenda. I voted to strip all Ukraine funding out of the Defense Department bill, to end all DOD funding for abortion services, and to provide a pay raise for our troops. To end Biden’s invasion at our southern border, I voted to increase funding for border wall construction, increase funding for border patrol, and reduce Secretary Mayorkas’ salary to $1.
I proudly voted to cut all funding for John Kerry and his office, and I voted to prohibit funding for the World Health Organization and Wuhan Lab. I also voted for the Department of Agriculture bill, which included an important provision I fought for to prevent China and our adversaries from buying US farmland. I previously voted to fund the Department of Veterans Affairs in July.
I will continue to hold the line against Biden’s costly inflationary spending, his illegal invasion at our southern border, and his blank check to Ukrainian oligarchs.”
