Rep. Miller's Statement on President Biden’s Intent to Nominate Julie Su for Secretary of Labor

February 28, 2023

WASHINGTON - Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), the Vice Chair of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, released the following statement on President Biden’s intent to nominate Julie Su for Secretary of Labor:

“The House will continue to hold Biden’s radical Department of Labor accountable, especially for their unconstitutional attempt to fire 84 million Americans unless they took the COVID vaccine. The Biden Labor Department is the first in history to grant itself the power to mandate an experimental vaccine and attempt to fire millions of Americans unless they provided private medical paperwork to Biden officials. We will hold Deputy Secretary Su accountable as the House conducts oversight over OSHA’s unconstitutional and illegal COVID vaccine mandate, which was a shameful attempt by the Biden Administration to prevent my constituents in Illinois' 15th District and Americans across the country from putting food on the table for their families.”
