WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) led a letter this week with members of the Illinois Congressional delegation urging the Illinois Association of School Boards to withdraw from the National School Boards Association. Last night, the Illinois Association of School Boards announced that they will be terminating their membership from the National School Boards Association effective immediately. 

WASHINGTON - Today, Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) led a letter with members of the Illinois Congressional delegation urging the Illinois School Boards Association to withdraw from the National School Boards Association. 

Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) issued the following statement regarding the Illinois Senate's advancement of a measure to repeal the state’s Parental Notice of Abortion Act.

"All children are created by God with a purpose, and that purpose begins at conception," Miller said. "The Left wants to strip the rights of parents in every way possible. We've seen it in the classroom and now we're seeing it with abortion. Parents should know what's being taught in their child’s classroom and parents should know if their child is going through the dangers of an abortion."
