WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) issued the following statement on the tragic update that several US Marines have been killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul. 

"My heart breaks for the families who lost their loved ones today. Please join me in keeping the families of these fallen heroes in your thoughts and prayers. What an absolute tragedy.

WASHINGTON -Today, Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) introduced a resolution in opposition to attempts by Congress to mandate the registration of women for the Selective Service System. Congresswoman Miller’s Don't Draft our Daughters resolution is a response to a newly added provision to the Senate version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that will require women to register for the draft.

WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) introduced the House companion bill to Senator Mike Braun's (R-IN) Define WOTUS Act of 2021. This bill was introduced by Congresswoman Miller to prevent President Biden’s radical cabinet secretaries from telling farmers and ranchers how to use and regulate their own land.

During the Obama Administration, the definition of “Waters of the United States” was altered, which trampled on the property rights of farmers, ranchers, and landowners in rural America.

WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15) participated in an Education and Labor Committee hearing this morning with the Biden Administration’s Department of Education Secretary Cardona. 

When asked, Secretary Cardona refused to answer Congresswoman Miller’s questions about the concerning new guidance the Department of Education has provided for schools and teachers.
